I Do… Tim & Lucy. Titchwell Manor Hotel {Favourite Five Moments}

Since I have started choosing 5 ‘moment’s’ for my couples sneak peeks earlier this year rather than 1 shot I am not sure its got any easier, in fact I think it has become harder as I pour over all the wonderful moments from a wedding day trying to choose those special 5.  I think thats the problem though, there are FAR more than 5 special moments, in fact there are hundreds hence why my couples get several hundred wedding images in their final edited selection…. how then, to choose 5?!

I am not sure I will be able to answer that question but I decided upon starting the ‘favourite 5’ that it would be 5 images that made my heart sing. Moments I remembered vividly from the day and split seconds that I felt would also sing to my couples and allow them to remember just how that moment felt to them.

This time it was the turn of Tim and Lucy who had a beautiful ceremony at Titchwell Manor Hotel. Tim and Lucy in fact followed Tim’s dream (and job) and moved around a year ago to Germany. In living in Germany they found it became rather hard to have a legal marriage back in the UK so opted for a small intimate ceremony several months ago with their very close family over in Germany. Then they turned their wedding day here in to a wonderful family party with a blessing in the middle, great company, food and music.

Despite around 80 guests it was one of the most relaxed weddings I have ever attended and it actually felt like a small intimate day.  Lucy got ready with her sister Sophie who did her hair and makeup in the morning and I had plenty of time to nip over to the boys and get some shots of them getting in to their suits too.

Lucy’s lovely Dad Jeremy gave her away and one of the stand out moments for me was as they arrived at the top of the aisle and had one last look at each other before walking up and giving her away. This precious fleeting moment between father and daughter could be so easily forgotten and its that kind of image that to me has to make my favourite 5, so that split second, that look between a dad and his little girl is captured forever to look back on and remember how it felt.

After a beautiful ceremony, their family photos, some awesome confetti throwing (see below) a wonderful informal meal of tapas and some really beautiful informal speeches on the lawn the guests headed over to Thornham Deli for drinks, music and a hog roast… oh and an amazing dessert table!

As the guests gathered themselves we headed to the beach, Tim and Lucy in a friends soft top Bentley (lucky them!) and I (in my Seat Leon!) to capture their couple shots.

Gorgeous couple, beautiful blue skies, incredible beach, I was in photographer heaven so this time at the beach made 3 of my sneak peeks and I could have posted many, many more!

So I give you Mr & Mrs Hadaway’s beautiful wedding celebration…
