Yesterday I headed to the gorgeous Elms Barn for Pete and Jess’ wedding! I adore Elms Barn it is one of my all time favourite venues and although the weather wasn’t looking promising I was really excited.

Jess and Pete had decided to go for a mini package of just 4 hours so I met Jess for her getting ready photos and shot until they sat down to eat and what a lovely 4 hours it was!

Jess was getting ready with her girls over in the beautiful Elms Barn bedrooms. I captured some gorgeous shots of her having her hair and makeup done and then we arranged for Dad to see his little girl in her dress and it was one of my favourite moments.  Jess looked incredible in her ivory/champagne gown and although not accustomed to wearing makeup and having her hair done she looked stunning!

It was spitting as Jess arrived at the ceremony and my next sneak peek was as she looked out the car at her bridesmaids waiting for her to get out. Jess wrinkles her nose when she smiles and I love it so as soon as I took this shot I loved it, she looks so excited!

A beautiful ceremony followed with lots of laughs and lots of emotion. We managed to capture their family photos outside before we headed off for a few mins of couple shots. As we headed over to the amazing sunflower field the heavens opened and I had to run back and grab my brollie! We still managed some gorgeous images in Elms Barn grounds and gardens and I have included 2 of my favourites.

I left just as they were about to be called to sit, a small but perfectly formed few hours with Jess, Pete and their lovely friends and family, here are my favourite five moments…
