Saturday was my second wedding of the weekend and this time it was the turn of David and Claire. They got married at the stunning Lyng church followed by a reception on her parents land which was amazing!
I met Claire and the girls in the morning getting ready at her childhood home and having their hair done and being made up by the awesome Emily from Love Moi Makeup.
The sun was shining and the girls were having the most wonderful morning together.
Claire got in to her beautiful lace gown and came down stairs to show her dad John. Safe to say he was as blown away as the rest of us! Claire has lost an incredible 4 stone for her big day and I have to say looked totally amazing, all her hard work all came together and she was able to show it off in the most gorgeous dress of her life.
They got married in Lyng church which I have to say is one of the prettiest little churches I have had the pleasure to shoot in. With clear glass windows it was stunningly light and I have so many favourites from here not least the one below as Claire and her dad arrived at the top of the aisle.
We got their group photos outside the church doors as many of her family had before them which felt so special before some awesome confetti shots on the church path. Back at the farm we headed up the hills at the back of her parents home where we had the most stunning views, long grasses and hay bales, photographer heaven!
Back at the marquee we had the most gorgeous meal with them followed by some of the best speeches I have heard. I was giggling all the way through David’s!
Just before their first dance the sky turned the most amazing pink and orange as the sun set behind the clouds! We rushed out to grab this final shot just before the sun disappeared… here are my favourite five moments…
