Last Saturday was the wedding of Myles and Cecilia and I have been so looking forward to capturing their day at the amazing Hush venues.
Its been a while since I was at Hush when I had a styled shoot around 3 years ago. It had so much potential and since then it has become such a be a beautiful venue from the woodland ceremony to the gorgeous wildflower meadow it is just perfect for couples who would love a relaxed, outdoor wedding day. Myles and Cecilia also had a tipi for their wedding breakfast which I just adore!
They had planned a late ceremony so at lunch time I headed over to meet Cecilia at the gorgeous holiday cottage on site where her and the bridesmaids were getting ready. They had planned and created so much of this day themselves from the hessian and crochet flower bouquets and flowers on the tables to the wedding cake, bridesmaids dresses and Cecilia had even made her OWN wedding dress, I think this could be a first for me!
All the girls helped her do her hair and then into her dress before we had a lovely unveil to dad and they set off across the meadow to the ceremony. A string quartet played as Cecilia walked up the aisle with her very proud dad and all through the ceremony Myles just kept looking down at Cecilia with so much love it made me well up!
After the ceremony the guests headed back through the woodland for drinks on the lawn outside the tipi. We captured their group shots and then some gorgeous couple shots in the woodland and meadow and just as we finished the forecast rain made an appearance!
They had a wonderful meal followed by some really touching speeches including Cecilia’s sister whose speech I just loved. After these another surprise for the guests was a guitarist who headed over to play their first dance song.
Still spitting Myles and Cecilia braved it and we finished with some wonderful evening shots in front of the tipi.
This was such a beautiful relaxed wedding and Myles and Cecilia possibly the most laid back bride and groom I have come across! Have a wonderful honeymoon guys and I look forward to sharing the rest in a few weeks time!
