For the last few years I have done a December Competition called ‘Superstar Someone’. Sadly last year I was so busy I simply didn’t get the time to do this and I really missed it! I have had lots of people ask if I would be doing it this year and it seems to be a competition that lots of you love.

The idea behind ‘Superstar Someone’ is to nominate someone you love to have a photo shoot with. This is not your children or husband but someone that you perhaps wouldn’t have thought of booking a photo shoot with, but someone who is super important to you and quite simply you feel they deserve a treat.

This could be your sister who has helped you through a hard year, a grandparent who has always been there for you or a friend who you couldn’t be without. It really doesn’t matter who just someone who DESERVES it!

The Prize is a Lifestyle Photo Shoot on location within Norfolk worth £95 AND a £100 voucher towards prints and products after the shoot. That means that the total worth is almost £200!!!

This year entries are a little different as I would like to make it more interactive on Facebook for my lovely likers, here is what you need to do:

2. Pinned to the TOP of the page is the ‘Superstar Someone post’ LIKE IT, SHARE IT TO YOUR WALL AND COMMENT (this is really important to spread the word so entries who have not completed this step will not be considered)

3. Message me through my Facebook page Katherine Ashdown Photography OR email me enquiries@katherineashdown.co.uk with your story of why your Superstar Someone deserves to win AND your email address.

ENTRIES CLOSE MIDNIGHT THURSDAY 18TH DECEMBER AND THE WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FACEBOOK FRIDAY 19TH DECEMBER.

On the 19th I will email you a voucher to you to give to your Superstar Someone over the Christmas period worth a whopping £195!

The shoot must take place in Norfolk so you will need to to able to travel here or should live locally and is valid for TWO people one of which must be you. You can choose the location and the shoot is valid for 3 months (until the 31st March 2015). Your winning reason will be published on the blog with your shoot or the announcement so please make sure you are happy for your reasons for nominating your Superstar Someone to be made public.

For the 2012 Competition the lovely Karena who nominated her Mum Sue won and Karla who nominated her wonderful Granny Liz and was the runner up read their entries HERE.

Liz was a wonderful lady who at 93 really rocked her shoot! Sadly she has passed away but it was a huge privilege to capture these images for Karla and her family of such a wonderful lady and really brought home the importance of the ‘Superstar Someone’ Competition to me.
