One of my favourite things to shoot is families. Even better, families who I capture growing. I photographed Matt and Susan’s beautiful wedding a few years ago. I remember it as such a magical day, they are a really fun, laid back couple and it was a cold, clear, sunny winters day.

Fast forward a few years and Susan had kept in touch. They have moved house since then and had 2 gorgeous little boys and when I say gorgeous they really are adorable!

They live near London so we met half way in near Cambridge. They had had their engagement shoot punting in Cambridge but we thought that may be a challenge two far with a little boy and a toddler so we met at a country park instead.

Susan had planned 2 outfits for the whole family and had taken all my advice, not ‘matching’ but tying tones and colours together so they look like a ‘family’ and she did a perfect job!

We had a wonderful time exploring the grounds and finished, to the boys delight, at the farm on the site to check out the pigs and cows.

Huge thanks to Matt and Susan for introducing me to the boys, I really can’t wait to capture them again as they grow in to handsome little men!
