Many of you will know that I spent the last week in the simply stunning Bordeaux, France.
This was part holiday, part 30th Birthday celebration and part photography course and it was totally amazing!
The first three days myself and Rob stayed with a group of other photographers at the incredible Chateau Rigaud complete with pool, vinyard, vast bedrooms with 4 poster beds, a bathroom the size of my louge, a shower in a turret (yes a whole turret!) lounges, dining room, library and chef, yep a real life chef that prepared lunches, evening meals, cakes the lot. In fact I have to say I have never and don’t think I will ever have 3 days of such incredible quality and amazingly cooked food – I wanted to bring Tom, from The Flavour Smith, home with me!
While Rob (not a photographer) lazed around living like royalty for a few days myself and another 8 photographers complete with Brett Harkness (my favourite UK photographer – TRAINING) and several gorgeous models shot and shot and shot and well… shot!
Numerous photo sessions later I have edited just a few of my favourite shots (there are many more to go) but for now I would like to share with you day one of a photographers holiday heaven…
A huge thank you to Brett and Kristie for arranging such an amazing few days, to the staff at Chateau Rigaud for looking after us so well, to Tom who is simply awesome, to all the other lovely photographers I met who were inspirational in equal measure and my lovely other half Rob who put up with tog talk for 3 days solid!
Hope you enjoyed the images, more to come soon x
