I Do…. Richard & Yasmin, Narborough Hall {Favourite Five Moments}

On Saturday I headed over to the gorgeous Narborough Hall for the first time this year to shoot a wedding!

This time it was Richard and Yasmin’s turn to get married. We had a really fun engagement shoot at the beach a few weeks ago and these two are such a lovely, relaxed couple I knew their wedding day would be awesome. I arrived to sunshine but knew the forecast for later that day was rain so we were all keeping our fingers crossed.  Yasmin was getting ready in the beauty room with her girls and I got some gorgeous shots of them having hair and makeup done as well as opening gifts before heading to the boys. What I love about Narborough is that everything can happen on site so it was a quick stroll downstairs to shoot the guys getting ready in one of the cottages at the back of the hall.

Back with the girls it was time for Yasmin to pop her dress on with the help of her mum and she looked beautiful. Her bridesmaids hadn’t seen everything together so we decided to have an unveiling to them (as well as Dad) and from the photo below I think they were pretty impressed. Yasmin headed down the beautiful staircase to meet Dad at the bottom who just looked incredible proud as he walked her across to the barn.

I loved the moment as Yasmin walked up the aisle and toward the top looked into Richard’s eyes, they both looked so happy to see each other. As the registrars asked who would give Yasmin away her and her Dad exchanged a ‘look’ and this was one of my favourite shots of the day!

After a beautiful ceremony the guests lined up for some confetti throwing before heading back into the warm for drinks and canapés. The rain held off while we captured their group shots outside the front of the hall but then started around half way through our couple shots so we used the beautiful barn and headed back into the house for a few there too.

After an incredible three course meal (Narborough are truly amazing at catering!) and some pretty funny speeches Richard, Yasmin and I headed off for a few evening shots and by some miracle it was still very lightly raining so we managed a rain shot too (this will be over on Facebook!)

After that it was time for the cake cut and first dance and I left them dancing the night away to the band and looking forward to jetting off on honeymoon the following day!

It was great to work with the lovely Mike from MS Provision for the first time too and I can’t wait to see his film!
