I have a notice board behind my desk with all my thank you cards and wedding initiations displayed and seeing my couples lovely plans and heartfelt thank you’s brightens up my day every day. For what feels like years (but I am sure its just a few months) the biggest invite on my board has been the most gorgeous Aimee Paints invitation from Jason & Ashleigh. Having met this couple more than 18 months ago and being super excited when they booked seeing this invite every day has made me even more excited for their wedding day. Well Saturday was the day and I just couldn’t wait!

Heather and I headed to Ashleigh’s parents beautiful home to capture the girls all getting ready, having their hair done and makeup by the fabulous Melissa Abel as well as having lots of giggles! Ashleigh got in to her dress in their amazing conservatory, literally the largest lightest space I have ever shot in in a private house, it was perfect and she looked rather incredible!

At the church guests were arriving in a big red bus and taking their seats in church and Jason was looking very excited if a little bit nervous.

I can honestly say I have never seen a groom look more proud and overwhelmed with happiness as his bride reached the top of the aisle. Ashleigh looked seriously incredible and Jason didn’t stop grinning (apart from a few tears) the whole way through the ceremony… and in fact the whole day!

Afterwards it looked a little grey and like it could rain so we got all their groups outside the church before some fab confetti shots and heading back to the beautiful Godwick Great Barn.  Ashleigh and Jason had a ride up to the gorgeous old ruin in the tractor and when we arrived the sun even came out for a little while.

The most delicious meal followed (the best crackling I have ever had) and the guests tucked in to Crepes from Christophes Crepe van and yummy wedding cake by Biddy’s Tearoom for dessert.

The evening finished with a fabulous first dance and the craziest dance floor I have EVER seen, Ashleigh and Jason’s family REALLY know how to party.

As ever I could have picked hundreds of shots for their sneak peek but here are a few of my favourite moments from their day…

Huge thank you to Jason and Ashleigh and all their really lovely friends and family and of course to Heather for assisting. Have an amazing honeymoon guys I can’t wait to share the rest in a few weeks time!
