A Little Piece of English Paradise…

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting what I believe to be the ‘next big wedding venue in Norfolk’. We have all heard of the big ones, Weston Park, Hunters Hall, The Assembly Rooms but has anyone heard of Narborough Hall? Having just recently received their wedding licence, as wedding venues go, it is quite simply a hidden gem!

I met Joanne who owns, lives in and runs the Hall and had the immense pleasure of a tour round the stunning gardens which, on a warm summers morning, were simply heavenly!

The beautiful gardens comprise of many different areas including; a walled kitchen garden, bridal garden, a plum bordered garden, pastel garden, lake – complete with lily pads, river frontage, a dragon adorned boat house, woodman’s lodge, the tree house you dreamt of as a child and even an outdoor walled swimming pool (perfect for floating candles on your wedding evening). The grounds are so beautiful they are even featured in this months Country Living Magazine!

Joanne believes in keeping the grounds very natural and in doing so has the most beautiful natural plants, wildlife and stunning meadows. As you may already know this fits like a glove with my ethos of natural, beautiful wedding photography, capturing the magic as it happens and so I am thrilled to be included as their recommended photographer.

Whilst this hidden gem is still a bit of a secret the prices are incredibly reasonable and as the house is a home as well as a business they only take limited numbers of wedding bookings per year making it one of the more exclusive venues in Norfolk.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the venue and am already excited to book my first wedding at this little piece of English paradise.
