I Do… James & Kerry, Norfolk Mead {Favourite Five Moments}

Last Saturday I was up at the gorgeous Norfolk Mead for James and Kerry’s wedding. It was another sunny one and I have to say I feel like I am getting a little too used to ‘expecting’ a golden hour and no rainy day issues!

James and Kerry are the sweetest couple but also really great fun and have some brilliant friends and lovely family, Cara and I just had the best day with them all.

We headed to meet Kerry at her and James’ home which is unusual as most brides tend to get ready either at their parents or at the venue. I have to say though they have the most beautiful house and it felt really special to shoot Kerry’s getting ready photos in the home her and James share and have put huge amounts of love and hard work into. They were all having a brilliant morning and a good giggle  having their hair and makeup done, a banging playlist and the bubbles flowing. Kerry’s mum Donna and sister Chloe were there to help her into her dress and her Dad Peter arrived for an unveil in the beautiful garden. Safe to say there was a lot of emotion and I just had to make one of these their first sneak peek.

At the church I met James and his best man Craig and we had a few moments to pin their button holes on as their guests arrived. It was actually their vicars first wedding too and he was really lovely to work with and made their ceremony a really special, personal one, there were oodles of laughs and a few tears too!

After the ceremony they exited to a shower of confetti and we captured their group shots at church before they headed off in their beetle to their reception at the Norfolk Mead. We stopped on the drive for a few photos with their fabulous VW beetle before arriving back to the guests mingling in the walled garden.

They had planned their times perfectly so had lots of time to mingle before we headed off for a few photos in the grounds of the two of them just before they sat to eat.

I LOVE a BBQ at a wedding and the Norfolk Mead definitely do a good BBQ… it was amazing and we even got the yummy pud too of blueberry cheesecake!

After dinner it was time for their speeches and then we snuck off for a few golden hour photos. Just before their first dance they jumped on the space hoppers and made my week with a bride V groom space hopper race!

After a gorgeous first dance their evening food was served and we left them mingling with their guests as the light was fading.

Huge thanks to all their friends and family for making us feel so welcome, the Norfolk Mead for looking after us and Cara for assisting.

I can’t wait to share the rest in a few weeks time but for now here are my favourite five moments…
