I Do… Sam & Christy, Hengrave Hall {Favourite Five Moments}

So my second wedding this week was the lovely Sam and Christy. A few months ago we had a gorgeous sunset engagement shoot and they were so much fun I knew it would be an awesome day!

I met them in the morning getting ready in the amazing rooms at Hengrave, these really are the dream getting ready rooms for brides! It was a hive of activity with 4 bridesmaids, mum and lots of little ones in and out, such an exciting morning.  Before it was time for Christy to get into her dress I headed to the boys for some getting ready shots. Christy had been super organised in sorting them all out plastic boxes with their bits and pieces but boys being boys they were still ‘looking’ for things! They looked super smart in their navy suits were lots of fun to capture!

Back with the girls Christy looked incredible as she was helped into her beautiful classic satin dress with overskirt… and pockets (my fave!) She had an unveiling to Dad who whispered how beautiful she looked before we let all the bridesmaids in and there were quite a few tears!

Christy’s Mum and Dad had arranged for the most beautiful horse and carriage to collect her and her dad and take them for a little drive before the ceremony, dropping them back off at the front ready for the ceremony.

The little church at Hengrave was packed to the rafters and I just loved this shot as she walks down the aisle with her dad, beaming at her guests, bathed in sunshine. They had a  gorgeous ceremony and exited the church to clouds of confetti before her and Sam hopped back in the horse and carriage to be waved by their guests off for a 20 min ride on their own.

Once they were back we had a little time to capture some shots with the horse and carriage before we did their groups in the side garden in the sunshine followed by a few more couple shots in the beautiful gardens while the guests took their seats for dinner.

After a wonderful meal they had some pretty epic speeches that had everyone in stitches, Christy also said a few words about her incredible parents which was just beautiful. Timings ran a little behind so after the cake cut the evening guests had arrived and it was time for their first dance. They did an awesome first danced which finished with sam picking her up to the guests whoops and spinning her round on the dance floor!

This was such a beautiful wedding to capture, Sam and Christy make the sweetest couple and their friends and family were just so lovely, Christy’s dad kept making sure I had eaten and drunk and I even got a thank you in his speech!

Here are my favourite five moments…
