I seem to have had lots of Wednesday weddings this year and Matt and Hannah’s was another!

I headed into Suffolk to Haughley Park Barns which is a venue I hadn’t heard of before but I have to say I was blown away by. It was beautiful. An amazing country house with a very pretty barn in the grounds and surrounded by the most incredible gardens and beautiful fields, it was the venue of photography dreams.

They chose to have a mini package as this was a weekday wedding so I arrived just in time for Hannah to get into her beautiful wedding dress at the farmhouse on site before heading to the barn to get some of the gorgeous details they planned, guests arriving and Matt actually looking very relaxed!

Back at the farmhouse which is just a little way behind the barn I got some gorgeous shots of Hannah walking across with her Dad and beautiful bridesmaids looking very excited.

They had a beautiful ceremony where they also made their own vows something I have to say thats really rare but that I always love.  After the ‘kiss’ they hugged which I just thought was so sweet I had to include it in my favourite five.

After the ceremony they had plenty of time to mill around with their guests who had drinks and lots of fun playing the lawn games they had organised. We captured their family shots before heading into the grounds for their couple shots. The grounds are stunning and reminded me of the Secret Garden as there is lots of beautiful hidden areas all gorgeous for photos as well as a beautiful walled garden.

After their yummy afternoon tea which they very kindly treated me to also we headed off for some golden hour shots in the fields before arriving back for their cake cut and first dance.

Despite this being a mini package I really struggled choosing their images, there were so many I just adored but I have managed to get it down, just!

Although I rarely include a shot of the bride on her own in my favourite five one of my favourite parts of the day was Hannah spinning and swishing her dress in the fields at golden hour so of course it had to be one of my five!
