I Do… Luke & Lauren, Favourite Five Moments {Hunters Hall}

So Saturday was the hottest day of the year so far and… I had a wedding!

Luke and Lauren booked me way back when I was pregnant with Robyn, around two whole years ago. It felt like such a long time since I had seen them but I was so excited to capture their wedding.

I arrived with the girls in the morning at her parents beautiful home, they were all getting ready in the conservatory (which was a bit warm!) which was lovely and light and with the doors open and the fans going there was a nice breeze. I was also thrilled to meet another of my brides who was a bridesmaid getting married next August (I can’t wait Emma!)

They had a lovely morning, not withstanding a small issue of a broken bridesmaid zip which meant we needed to call a grandma with some sewing skills but as I always say theseĀ  are the stories you will tell your grandchildren!

I nipped round to the boys getting ready at Luke and Lauren’s home. I hadn’t realised before the day but one of the ushers was someone I knew from the gym so it was lovely to catch up with Calum (also Lauren’t brother!) We had a good giggle while they got ready and tried to do their button holes but once dressed they all looked amazing, if a little hot in 3 piece suits!

Once Lauren was in her stunning dress she had a reveal to her Dad and then her lovely bridemsaids, they hadn’t seen the dress and all had been betting what Lauren had gone for… I still don’t know who got the closest?! Needless to say from the photo below they were blown away!

They chose the beautiful Church in Swaffham for their ceremony, I had only shot in there once before but its the most beautiful church, big airey, full of light and lovely and cool on such a hot day. The bells were ringing as guests arrived and Lauren eventually pulled up with her dad.

As she walked down the rather long aisle all the guests heads were turned and Luke looked totally overwhelmed to see his stunning bride. They had a gorgeous ceremony by the vicar and exited to oodles of confetti as they walked down the church path. We had a few group shots at church before the guests jumed on the bus to Hunters Hall.

Back at Hunters Hall they has some time with their guests before we grabbed some lovely relaxed bridesmaid and groomsmen shots and then a few couple shots before their meal. The boys did their speeches between main and dessert and despite a few nerves they were all totally brilliant!

Of course as we had the most stunning day the sun got low and beautiful so we nipped out into tje fields just before their first dance to get some evening shots. This was my 3rd wedding in 8 days and made a goldenhour hatrick which made me very happy!

Back at the Hall they did their first dance followed by a few upbeat songs to get the guests up and then a beautiful father daughter dance. As I left for the evening the sun had dipped behind some clouds so I was super pleased we had nipped out a little earlier.

I can’t wait to share more from this amazing wedding but for now here are my favourite five moments…
