I am so excited to share this shoot with you ~ my so called ‘Secret Shoot’ which I have been planning for the last few weeks!
When the Royal Wedding was announced I was over the moon, not just because I love a good wedding but what could be better for the wedding industry and indeed the nation right now than something huge to celebrate? My mind started to work over time and I decided to put the wheels in motion to shoot a Royal, Vintage, Wedding Themed Bridal Shoot.
I started to collect interesting items, old books, union jack bunting, an original 1940’s flag and even the amazing dresses! I quickly found three simply beautiful models keen to be involved and Emily Turnbull from Love Moi Makeup offered to help out with the fantastic vintage makeup. The lovely Sarah Marks from Tiny Gems loaned me the most stunning heirloom bouquet for the shoot and Julia Beazley from Vintage Tiaras loaned me the most amazing hairpieces.
The shoots took place over two days and we started with the very beautiful Alice whom we shot around the back streets of Norwich complete with old doors and telephone boxes. On day two I shot my very stunning niece Cara and her gorgeous friend Catherine whom we had special permission to shoot at the Royal Wolferton Station. This is in fact the very station the Queen herself used to arrive at when visiting Sandringham until closure in 1966. It is now the most beautifully restored Royal Station you have ever seen, a huge credit to the owner Richard – see his website HERE.
A big thank you to Sarah and Julia for the loan of their gorgeous products, Emily for doing such a fantastic makeup job, Alice, Cara and Catherine for being such beautiful models, Richard for allowing us to shoot at his beautiful home, Emma and Chris for assisting on the day and the amazing Lou from Whimsical Wonderland Weddings who has also blogged the shoot! I am very grateful to all of you for helping this shoot come together. Please check out the websites as linked above or at the end of this post. If you are a bride to be I can highly recommend all products and services.
Finally I really hope you enjoy looking through the images as much as we had fun shooting them! If you like what you see please remember to leave a comment at the end, I know all suppliers and models (and me!) would love to read them!

Some fantastic images on this set, nice consistent feel and lots of variety. Only issue was the amount of images and time to load. But great job 🙂
Stunning photo’s, love all the props you collected, especially love the photo’s sat in the garden 🙂 Perfect post for a day like today! x
Gorgeous shots and what a location. Simply beautiful 🙂
Fabulous shoot! What a great set of images. Gorgeous models too!
Oooh these are fabulous!!! Love so many things about this shoot…here’s just a few: the bluebell shots, the vintage esque props ‘don’t for wives’! and the thick black eyeliner!
Thanks so much! So glad you like, it was such a fun shoot and although I love every shoot I do so lovely to do something that was just ‘my’ vision! Thanks so much for the comment xx
Gorgeous shoot. I really love the location too, beautiful.
Lovley shoot, such vibrant, clear colours. You’ve really captured something slightly nostalgic and a sense of the British Springtime.
Thank you for your lovely comment Madeline, lovely to know what I was aiming for really came across!
Fantastic styling, great feel to the whole shoot. Handful of spot on shots.
