Yesterday I headed up to Pensthorpe Park to meet the lovely Kimber family for their photo shoot.  I have actually shot this family 4-5 times already and I have to say it is a huge honour to be invited back to capture them as they grow.

I actually started when the gorgeous Imogen was just 10 months old! Now she is a very beautiful 8 year old who loves having their photo taken. The ‘little boys’ Oliver and Seb have grown into young men and I couldn’t believe how tall and grown up they both were!

I had never been to Pensthorpe before but it is a beautiful wildlife park full of animals and birds with a lovely shop and cafe. The leaves were just starting to turn and things were beginning to look Autumnal so although we had a grey day we had lots of gorgeous foliage and colour.

We had a lovely time exploring and I found some beautiful locations for photos and the ‘children’ not that they are children any more, were as good fun and lively as ever coming up with plenty of their own ideas for photos too!

This family is really special to me and every time I see them for photos I feel like part of the family. It really is such a privilege to capture them growing up and as Imogen was talking about her wedding yesterday I hope to be able to capture that one day too… in at least 50 years Chris!

Huge thank you to Beth and Chris for allowing me to capture this really precious time as their children grow in to teens and to Oliver, Seb and Imogen for keeping me on my toes and being such great fun.

I can’t wait to do it again in another couple of years!

The Kimber’s get 2 sneak peeks today… I rule I almost never break! I wanted to share this lovely fun family photo as its such a happy relaxed shot of them all but I couldn’t bare not to share this image of the 3 children along with 3 seagulls (one of which almost took me out!)
