I first met Lauren a few years ago when she was bridesmaid at one of my weddings! Fast forward a few years and she was runner up in a competition I ran last year to win a couple shoot.

She didn’t win but I loved her entry and she was my runner up! She is such a gorgeous girl and has done quite a bit of modelling so I knew I would love shooting her again. Her and Pete have been together around 18 months and met at work. They are such a sweet couple and within the first minute Pete was cuddling up to Lauren like a pro!

We had been expecting rain all week and on the day itself the forecast said we had till 1pm before the rain came… it was right… just as we were finishing the shoot we felt the first few drops of rain and so we headed back to the cars!

I have lots of beautiful images from this shoot but I just adored the romance of this one, cuddled up on the beach under dark skies perfect.

I am very excited to share the rest, they are pretty special but for now here is my favourite from our lovely, chilly windy morning at the beach…
