As well as weddings Engagement and Lifestyle shoots are also now really ramping up as ‘summer’ gets going and yesterday was Charlotte and Andrew’s engagement shoot!

They decided upon Fritton Lake so we met at the beautiful Fritton Arms and walked through the gardens down to the beautiful waters edge. We had a wander round the grounds and as Andrew and Charlotte got engaged on the Broads took some down by the water and with one of the pretty boats.

The sky was gathering dark clouds above us and we started hearing thunder so feared we may get rained off but it passed over head and we even managed to finish the shoot to big blue skies and a field of daisies!

I have lots of gorgeous shots from this shoot but as soon as I shot these moments in the dappled sunlight under a big tree lying in the long grasses I knew they would be some of my favourite of the whole shoot.

So a little unusually for me I am sharing a black and white image from this collection of images… I am now super excited about their Langley Abby wedding in early August!
