On Saturday it was Steffan and Laura’s turn to get married at the beautiful Norfolk Mead Hotel. I headed to Laura’s house in the morning to meet the girls all getting ready. Laura was lucky enough to have her Godmother do her and the bridesmaids hair and what a beautiful job she did! By the time they had all had Melanie Haynes complete their makeup thy really did look stunning! Laura’s lovely mum Treecha was making sure everyone was well fed and watered with her yummy spread, the music was playing and the drinks flowing.
Laura looked beautiful in her gown and I adored her colourful bouquet by Libby Ferris Flowers which just popped with her white dress. As she arrived at the venue her and her Dad Trevor had a moment together before it was time to walk up the aisle and this is one of my favourite shots of the day and my first sneak peek! It was a super windy day and as they walked across the gorgeous walled garden at The Norfolk Mead Laura’s veil blew up and across her Dad’s face which was such a memorable moment!
I think Laura is the smiliest bride I have ever seen and as she got to the top of the aisle and Steffan turned to face her I have never seen a bride so happy and excited to be getting married! A beautiful ceremony followed and then we headed outside for confetti and group photos in the gardens.
The weather couldn’t decide what to do on Saturday, one moment we had bright sunshine the next dark grey clouds and it was blowing a gale all day! After their bridesmaids and groomsmen shots we took 20 minutes to get their first set of couple shots and the sun came out just at the right moment.
The boys were a little nervous about the speeches so had decided to do them before they ate, they needn’t have worried as they were wonderful and I along with the guests giggled all the way through them! Steffan and Laura love afternoon tea so a delicious spread of sarnies, scones (my fave!) and cakes were served with tea and coffee.
After dinner they had some time to enjoy the gardens and we nipped off for their second set of couple shots just before their first dance. We left them boogying the night away and I think its safe to say they had a fantastic day!
I have so many wonderful moments from this wedding and I think every single shot of Laura she is grinning from ear to ear… for now though here are their sneak peeks…
