Saturday was my first wedding of a few this year at the amazing Holkham Hall. It was Nicholas and Tanya’s turn to say I do in the beautiful Statue Gallery at the hall.
I met Tanya getting ready with her bridesmaid and sister at the Hoste and its safe to say she was rather excited! They were having a lovely morning doing hair and makeup and Tanya’s little bridesmaids also popped in for parts of her getting ready. I headed over to the boys at the Railway House which is another very special venue owned by the Hoste and perfect for the boys getting ready. I got some great shots of the guys and especially of Nic opening his incredible watch from Tanya that brought a few tears to his eyes.
Back with the girls it was almost time for Tanya to put her dress on and WOW, what a dress it was. It had a huge train with amazing ruffles, beaded bodice and was a beautiful blush shade in the right light. Its safe to say she looked like a princess!
We headed over to Holkham Hall to be ready for her arrival and despite being a little fashionably late she couldn’t have looked happier and more excited… although I think she made Nic sweat a little, brides prerogative right?!
They had a beautiful ceremony followed by confetti in the Marble Hall, drinks, canapés and their group shots out the front.
We then headed out in the car for their couple shots at the top of the hill overlooking Holkham and despite being pretty cold and with a slight mist the Hall looked magnificent.
Back at the Lady Elizabeth Wing the guests were ready to take their seats for the meal with tables decorated in flowers by the fabulous Swaffham and Fakenham Florist. Following the meal they had 5 speeches and LOTS of laughter as well as quite a few tears.
We finished their evening with their beautiful first dance which was one of my favourite images from the day so I just had to share it below.
Huge thank you to Nicholas and Tanya for being such great fun to work with, have an incredible honeymoon and I can’t wait to share the rest in a few weeks time.
