On Saturday it was my 5th wedding of the year already, I can’t believe how fast the year is going! This time it was James and Lindsay’s turn to get married at the beautiful Quendon Hall surrounded by all their friends and family.

When I arrived Lindsay and her girls were having their hair and makeup done by the awesome Tracey Ward Hair and Emily from Love Moi Makeup. Lindsay and her bridesmaids are so much fun and just laughed their way through the morning, there didn’t seem to be any nerves in sight!

I headed to the boys to capture their getting ready and they were much the same, very chilled out and just having a lovely time!

Lindsay got into her dress in her parents room which had a gorgeous four poster bed and then headed down the rather grand staircase to the marquee for the ceremony. Their ceremony I think had most of the guests in tears or laughing at various intervals and Lindsay and James laughed and smiled through the whole thing, they just looked so happy to be getting married!

After the ceremony everyone headed out into the sunshine for drinks, canapés and their group shots before we sneaked off for a few couple shots in a beautiful field of daffodils we found at the back of the hall.

The guests sat to eat and they had decided to do their speeches before the meal so we got ready to capture them. Lindsay and James had a little announcement of their own as their are expecting their first child this Autumn! Now 12 weeks they decided to announce it at the wedding so at the end of his speech James held up their scan picture for the whole room to see. Its safe to say the room erupted, clapping, cheering, standing and a few tears to boot!

They had a gorgeous first dance followed by a pretty full dance floor and after lots of photos of their guests we left them to dance the night away!

It was also wonderful to work with Ellie and Rich again from VT Films and I can’t wait to see their film!
