I can’t quite believe this gorgeous wedding was now over a year ago! I am a little behind with blogging but I still have so many from last year I am still desperate to share! Dom and Missy got married at the beautiful Chaucer Barn, one of my all time favourite Norfolk wedding venues and perfect for their relaxed and fun wedding! Living in Kenya it was a challenge for them to plan the big day but they are outdoorsy people and knew beyond anything else they wanted the day to feel relaxed.
So on a fine July morning I headed to the beautiful Chaucer Barn. En-route Heather and I talked about the day and I told her a little about Melissa and Dom. We also always try to imagine what kind of dress the bride will have and we decided that Melissa would be the perfect bride for a Jenny Packham dress. Jenny Packham is my all time favourite wedding dress designer so when I arrived and saw that actually she DID have a JP dress {my first for last year} she pretty much made my week, no, my year!
Dom and Melissa had a wedding blessing in the meadow at Chaucer and it was perfect. Emotional, happy, relaxed and so them! We got all their group shots in the grounds and headed off for their couple shots in the meadow.
They had a marquee set up behind the barn and despite the weather staying fine for all the important bits of the day during their meal the heavens opened! They had an AWESOME party which always leads to an awesome dance floor so some of my favourites are the fab dancing shots at the very end!
Missy and Dom I believe have had a wonderful first year together even bringing a little lady in to the world and I couldn’t be happier for them… I am also hoping to meet her for a shoot of her own soon!
Here is their gorgeous day…
