On Friday I headed out to capture Alice and Andy’s engagement shoot. The forecast was fine until around 11 and then there was a 50% chance of rain so I thought with meeting at 10am we would be fine! This was also the last time they planned to come up to the area before their Narborough Hall wedding at the end of October and I was really keen to meet them and get their engagement shoot images before the wedding day!
As I drove through Norfolk the sky got darker, mistier and the heavens opened! I drove through flooding and torrential rain en route and started to wonder if we would be able to manage the shoot at all! Luckily they had chosen a venue with some great areas of outdoor shelter and lots of trees and we really had to use them!
Alice and Andy are just the loveliest couple though and were totally prepared to get wet! Although by the end we were all soaked to the skin we had just had so much fun and got some gorgeous images in the mean time!
We all finished with well deserved hot chocolates at the end and I seriously can’t wait for their Autumnal wedding!
For now here is the cutest sneak peek, Alice is going to be a very smiley bride especially with Andy by her side who just knows how to make her giggle…
Huge thanks for braving the rain guys (and for treating me to a hot choc) it was so much fun, I can’t wait to share the rest and see you again in just a few weeks time!
