Friday was my first family shoot of 2018 and what a way to start!

I actually shot James and Kayleigh’s engagement shoot and wedding a few years ago so when they got in touch to book a shoot for them and their gorgeous little new addition I was thrilled! They deiced to bring along Joshua’s grandparents too which was a lovely idea and something I would highly recommend if you are having a shoot yourself.

They decided on the beautiful Gooderstone Water Gardens for their shoot as this was where they had their engagement shoot. I think last time we went at the height of summer, the gardens were very colourful and we had a very sunny day! This time the colours were a little more wintery and it was a bit blustery but Josh was a little star.

We had a wander through the gardens chatting about life with a little one (which I can now very much relate to!) and it was wonderful to capture the next part of their journey, as a little family. I have lots more to share but for now here is one of my favourites from their shoot…
