Yesterday was my first shoot of 2017 and I couldn’t have been more excited that it was with this awesome family! I met James and Charlotte back in 2011 when I photographed their wedding at the beautiful Chaucer Barn and since then have done a bump and baby shoot with them with their little lady Lucinda.

Fast forward a few years and that little lady is almost 4… and she has a brother or sister on the way (with her favourite names picked out!) James got in touch to book another bump shoot cutting it a little fine is baby is due in just 2 weeks time! We combined into a family shoot making it really special at this super exciting time for all the family.

So we met at the beach yesterday and set off in the chilly air for their shoot. Lucinda was a little star, it was really cold but she was happy to run around, explore, take off her coat and have fun. We had such a lovely time together shooting in the woodlands and down onto the beach.

At the end with the promise of chocolate in the car Lucinda held my hand all the way back to the car park… I think I have a new friend!

I am so thrilled their little family is about to grow even bigger and I can’t wait to meet the addition to the family!
