Every wedding I am invited to capture is special, but this one really was unique!
Jane contacted me just a few weeks ago to see if I was available to capture her’s and Chris’ wedding day. I was very much fully booked for 2016 but when she told me a little more about their plans I was so excited to be invited to capture this day for them.
Chris and Jane have been together 12 years and this would be a second marriage for them both. They have been through an awful lot together in the last 12 years but Jane explained to me that throughout the difficult times they had the most wonderful solid relationship and always had so much fun together. Jane is a whirlwind, funny, vivacious and the mist caring lady I have met and she explained to me that Chris was a little quieter, extremely patient and also great fun to be with.
Jane told me all about their plans to have a day that was just for them. A hard decision as they have lots of very loving family but they felt that they would love their marriage to be a celebration of their 12 years together, simple, together and celebrating their love for each other. After chatting on the phone and being invited into this extremely special and personal day I really couldn’t wait to capture it for them.
It was such an honour to meet just the two of them at the beautiful Congham Hall and despite it being just them, 2 witnesses (from the Hall) and their registrars it was one of the most touching and memorable ceremonies I have had the pleasure to capture. I had to remind myself to take photos as it really felt I was one of the party witnessing something really special between this couple.
I captured their beautiful ceremony and then we headed into the beautiful grounds of Congham for some couple shots with gorgeous low Autumn sunshine out in force.
After their little break at Congham they are planning to tell their family as a little surprise and despite it being a Secret were happy for me to share a few images so they had something beautiful they could send to their friends and family.
After the ceremony Jane did a little ‘YES’ moment and at the end Chris twirled her round in the ceremony room so these are 2 of my favourite fives as I adored these moments.
Huge thank you to the staff at Congham and especially to Chris and Jane for inviting me to capture their intimate day, it really was such an honour. I hope you love your sneak peeks and there are lots more to share with you in a few weeks time!
