Mel and Chris got married in 2013. At the time Mel considered having a Boudoir shoot for him as a gift but quickly decided she would be too nervous and put the thought out of her mind.

Having mentioned to Chris that she would have liked to have one done he decided to book one as a present for her birthday in August (what an amazing husband!) Mel received the voucher and emailed me to let me know she was rather nervous about the shoot.  To be honest most ladies are nervous before we begin and I don’t mind one bit as these are the ladies who I know in minutes are going to be having more fun than they ever imagined! With hair by the fabulous Flamingo Amy and Makeup by the incredible Love Moi Makeup every lady is transformed in to a goddess before we even start!

Mel arrived nervous and having not slept very well with most of her wardrobe in a suitcase not sure what to bring. By the time she’d had her hair and makeup finished she looked like a movie star and I had chosen the most stunning few outfits to shoot in the beautiful rooms at the Hall.

Within minutes Mel was smiling laughing and having a great time… by the end she even said… “That was fun!” and when Chris came to pick her up she said to him “Best Birthday Present Ever!”

I had such a fabulous time with Mel, she was worried about so many things but to be honest she looks INCREDIBLE! Her husband clearly sees how beautiful she is and was hoping this would help improve her confidence and for her to see she really is drop dead gorgeous, Chris you are a lucky man!

Mel has been brave enough to let me share a sneak peek for her although I really struggled to choose which one I just adored this relaxed smily shot of her that oozes fun and the confidence I don’t think she even knew she had inside her.  I arrived into the office this morning to a rather lovely email too (thanks so much Mel!)…

“I just wanted to say thank you for yesterday, I had such an amazing time. It was a brilliant experience. I felt amazing and everything just felt so relaxed. I don’t know why I was so worried before I came as I had so much fun.  It went by so quickly. I can’t wait to see the sneak peak and the pictures.  I am very excited and can’t wait to show Chris. I think his main goal of making me feel more confident has been achieved.”
