I am so excited to share this incredible wedding!
I first met Dan and Hannah with Hannah’s lovely parents Cheryl and Nigel at the EDP wedding show around 18 months go. When Hannah told me a little about their wedding plans on their families land bordered by a river I was rather excited. Hearing more about their plans as the 18 months has passed the wedding sounded truly incredible and a complete one off but I was still unprepared for just how stunning the location was!
I met Hannah to start the day at her parent’s farm in a beautiful little village. As I arrived Nigel and helpers were decorating the tractor and trailer that was the ‘wedding transport!’ Hannah was getting ready with her girls and mum and everyone was having a ball and getting rather excited!
At the church the boys arrived in ‘Gators’ and the guests filled up the beautiful little village church. Hannah arrived sitting in the tractor cab with her dad her bridesmaids and mum all in the trailer!
A beautiful ceremony followed with gorgeous readings, their family groups at the church and some wonderful confetti shots.
Everyone then took the minute’s walk to the river to wave Dan and Hannah off in the sweetest little motorised rowing boat! With more confetti thrown as they headed under the bridge. It was a 5-10 min walk to their reception on the land of Hannah’s families stunning water mill and the guests followed as the boat made its way down the river.
They had borrowed the village fete games for the guests to play, had an ice cream cart and hay bales for the guests to sit on, they even had a rubber duck race on the river after the amazing speeches!
A bit of a dream wedding for a photographer, Heather and I were a little spoilt for choice of amazing locations, and beautiful images everywhere we looked!
I have struggled a little to choose their sneak peeks but as always these 5 images just stood out as my favourite 5 moments of the day… I give you the new Mr & Mrs Carratt…
Also my first full flower grown… BIG brownie points for that Hannah!
Have an amazing honeymoon and I look forward to sharing the rest in a few weeks time!
