Earlier in the year the lovely Penny from The Little Lending Company and I decided to offer a gorgeous styled couple shoot for Valentines Day.

Chatting about themes we came up with a ‘woodland’ theme for the shoot, camp fires, tent, hot chocolate and the ‘Woodland Themed Couple Shoot’ was born!

We offered the shoot as a Valentines prize and got close oodles of entries from gorgeous couples all keen to win. Emily and Jamie’s entry really stood out to me. In the entry they had included some gorgeous images of themselves and sent in the most lovely, happy, positive entry about how they would love some photographs for the walls of their first home together. They seemed like such a happy, positive, fun couple when Penny and I got together to choose our winner these guys really stood out!

In the run up to the shoot we were offered the most perfect location of Swanton Morley House and Gardens by owner Caroline. This is actually an exciting brand new wedding venue that is open for weddings from this summer and is just stunning!

The fabulous Emily from Love Moi Makeup and Tracey from Tracey Ward Hair also agreed to come along and offer their amazing hair and makeup services and Caroline new the most fabulous florist Penny from Crown House Flowers who also offered her floristry services for the day.

Thank you to everyone for getting involved and doing such an awesome job as well as Heather who came along to assist and get some extra shots too!

The day arrived and it was a little grey and chilly… we all met at the house and got started setting up. Emily and Jamie couldn’t have been better models, they brought what looked like their entire wardrobes for us to choose the perfect outfits and shrugged off the cold cuddling even closer together and just enjoying the shoot.

Penny set up several gorgeous back drops in the woods and Caroline set us up a camp fire which I think was everyones favourite as we all huddled round it to get warm!
