I am over the moon to share David & Rebecca’s gorgeous wedding. I have skipped forwards a little in sharing this now but as their stunning wedding has just been featured on both Rock My Wedding {See HERE} AND in Wedding Idea’s Magazine {See below} I couldn’t wait to share!
The day started with some shots of the boys playing cricket on Narborough Hall’s very own cricket ground followed by shots of Rebecca and her gorgeous bridesmaids and mum getting ready in the amazing bridal suite. When Rebecca was  ready we had time for a few shots of her all ready to go and with her bridesmaids and parents but as she descended the stairs with her dashing Dad, I can honestly say I was blown away, she looked every inch a film star and I couldn’t wait for David to see his stunning bride walk up the isle.
The ceremony was beautiful, full of their friends and family from all over the world there was a huge sense of fun and celebration in the room as they said ‘I do’ and became Mr & Mrs. Some awesome confetti shots followed which were some of my favourites of all time and David and Rebecca literally didn’t stop smiling all day. Wanting to keep the relaxed garden party feel of the wedding they chose just a few of the most important group shots which we did on the lawn in the beautiful sunshine. As tennis lovers they had chosen a tennis theme for their classic English wedding and so Rebecca had the fabulous idea of some shots on the tennis courts at the hall. Armed with some fantastic vintage rackets they had been given we headed over and got some rather cool images, Rebecca calls them her ‘Ralph Lauren’ shots!
Afternoon tea followed with lots of speeches including Rebecca, with so many friends and family from all over the world there was so much to be thankful for and not a dry eye in the marquee! Later in the afternoon David and Rebecca had built in time for their guests to simply enjoy the grounds and the beautiful weather. It is really unusual for a wedding to have this extra time but what a huge difference it made. Guests had a wonderful time exploring the grounds, the lake, playing croquet, eating ice cream from their ice cream van and generally enjoying the amazing setting. They had also arranged a singer and they all joined in a sing song on the lawn which made for some great photos!
The evening party started with a pretty awesome choreographed dance before all their friends and family piled on the dance floor with them!
Rebecca tells you even more including all the suppliers details in the two articles but she had some wonderful words about her photography to share….
“Our photographer was the ridiculously talented Katherine Ashdown. We didn’t actually meet Katherine until our engagement shoot (we are based in London rather than Norfolk) a few months before the wedding! But from seeing her incredible work online, chatting with her over the phone, I knew she was going to be perfect. Her shooting style is relaxed and fun and our photos have turned out so much better than we could ever had imagined. We even did a retro style tennis shoot in our wedding outfits, which had a hint of a Ralph Lauren vibe to it!”
They also had one of the most amazing videographers capture their day,  Studio 1208. Trust me it is well worth a view ~ follow this LINK
