Saturday was Rosie and Stuart’s turn to get married and I was so looking forward to being back at the beautiful Kimberley Hall. I set off in brilliant sunshine but the forecast was for heavy rain in the afternoon and it did infact arrive!

When I got to Rosie’s parents house the girls were all at the hairdressers having their hair done so Rosie showed me round and helped me get her amazing dress shots in the garden. When they all arrived back it was a hive of activity, bubbles flowing, music playing and everyone getting very excited! Rosie chose the most incredible classic dress and looked so much like Audrey Hepburn as her bridesmaids Emma and Jenny helped her in to her dress and veil.  After some gorgeous shots of Dad seeing her in her dress we had a little time for a few shots with the girls in the garden before I shot off to meet the boys at the church.

They got married in East Harling church which is a really pretty village church set up a little on a hill. The guests arrived in a big red bus and the sun was still showing its face so it was hard to believe torrential rain was forecast! As the church filled up and the last few guests arrived Rosie and her dad pulled up outside the church.

They had the most beautiful ceremony and Rosie kept sneaking little glances up at Stuart which I just adored so had to include one of these little looks as a sneak peek. While the ceremony took place the church got darker and darker and in the space of 45 mins while we were in there Rosie and Stuart exited to torrential rain! They just had a few simple group shots which we got inside the church door and their one larger shot it dried up to a slight drizzle and the guests were really happy to grab this outside for a couple of minutes. They then lined the path and and threw possibly the most confetti I have ever seen!

On the way back to Kimberley the rain didn’t let up at all but by the time all the guests arrived back and drinks and canapés were flowing we managed to get outside for a few photos, the sun even made an appearance.

During their meal just as darkness was descending the most incredible mist appeared over the lake and Stuart and Rosie were really happy to nip out before their pudding to capture it which is one of my favourite images of the day.

After some fabulous speeches they did their first dance and the dance floor filled up which I was able to capture before leaving for the evening.

It was such a pleasure to spend the day with this wonderful couple and family these are my favourite five moments but I have lots more I can’t wait to share!
