Elaine contacted me out of the blue only around 1-2 weeks ago to see if I had any late availability for a shoot at the end of the summer holidays and she was in luck! I always try to not fully book myself so I have space for families who may need to re-arrage due to illness or bad weather or infant so I can take a last minute shoot like this!
I was so glad to have space for them. Elaine, Guy and Grace actually had a shoot with Guys parents when 16 year old Grace was just 8! I couldn’t believe how long it had been but it was so lovely to see them all again. Grace hasn’t changes too much but she is probably twice as tall as last time I saw them, she certainly has her mums height!
We had planned to get to the beach but as early as 10am on bank holiday Monday the beach car park was already full! So we headed to another local spot I knew which was much quieter and actually with beautifully shady trees it was the perfect location for a shoot on such a hot day.
We had a lovely walk with their gorgeous little dog Nutmeg and captured some beautiful images of them as a family. I really hope it isn’t another 8 years before our next shoot but for now here is their sneaky peek…
