On Friday I headed up to the North Norfolk Coast to meet Sophia & Chris for their engagement shoot. Sophia had found me on Instagram and after chatting on the phone she booked me to capture their 2017 wedding in Cambridgeshire. That was a few months ago and to be honest before I met them I felt like I already knew them. We have discovered from Instagram that we have so much in common, (not least cats!) and they even live in the same village where my other half works.

So meeting them to be honest just felt like meeting old friends and I had the most lovely couple of hours with them in the sunshine at the beach!  We also met one year to the day of their wedding so it felt like a really special day to do this shoot!

Sophia brought some balloons to the shoot and we had a wonderful time in the woods and by the beach huts. We decided though as the sea was a little closer than usual to head out to reach the shoreline and some of my favourites of the shoot are shot with them paddling at the waters edge.

So here is one of my favourites from the day, I have many, many more to share but I just loved how happy and relaxed the both look in this shot…

I seriously can’t wait for their wedding they are one of the happiest couples I ave ever met and I know its going to be the most magical day!
