Last Saturday I was back at one of my all time favourite venues for Jo and Rob’s wedding, the amazing Chaucer Barn for the second time so far this year.

With their dream team list of suppliers (who I will list at the end) I knew it was going to be such a fabulous day. When you pick the right suppliers you really can just hand over all the stress and simply have a wonderful day and I think thats what Jo and Rob did so well.

They had planned a ceremony in the woods at Chaucer but with the weather a bit up and down decided to have it on the lawn in front of the house to save their guests wet feet and if the heavens did open meant they could head inside fairly easily. The day started with rain, progressed to being fairly cloudy and finished with rather epic sunshine… then as I drove home clouded right over and rained again, we certainly got and used the very best of the weather thats for sure!

The ladies were all getting ready in the upstairs sitting room at Chaucer Barn and it was a riot of family, friends, hair, makeup and lots of fun! I then headed to see Rob who was getting ready at a beautiful cottage round the corner with the help of his lovely best woman Hannah.  The sky cleared a little and the chairs where put outside as Jo got into her dress with the help of her mum Penny. After which Penny did a blessing with Jo which was so special and is my first sneak peek.

Jo walked up the aisle to greet a very emotional Rob who had a few tears as he saw how incredible she looked. They had such a gorgeous ceremony on the lawn followed by confetti and some very enthusiastic confetti throwers, I just love these shots!

Their gorgeous marquee was set up at the end of the meadow and looked incredible. After a beautiful meal and pretty epic dessert table they had their speeches and then we snuck out for some golden hour images as their guests gathered at the barn for their first dance.

This was such a wonderful relaxed day and it was great to work with the following suppliers (some of whom I haven’t worked with before but were brilliant!) If I haven’t mentioned you please email me and I will add you to the list, there were lots to remember!

Here are my favourite five moments…
