I Do… Dennis & Jade, Chaucer Barn {Favourite Five Moments}

This is my busiest two weeks of the year with 5 weddings in just 15 days (as well as a family wedding as a guest)! Second of these was the lovely Dennis and Jade and their gorgeous little boy Logan. When they booked their wedding Logan didn’t exist and wasn’t even on his way so to have him there on the day was so special for Dennis and Jade.

They chose the beautiful Chaucer Barn which is the perfect place for a more intimate family wedding. They arrived the day before and were busy decorating the barn into the early hours. The next morning when I arrived it was a hive of activity. Deciding to cater themselves family were busy chopping, popping things in the oven and Jade was making potatoe salad!

Upstairs the girls getting ready with makeup by the fabulous Love Moi Makeup and as there were a few little ones it was a hive of activity looking after them too.

I headed to the boys to capture them getting ready and Dennis dressing little Logan which was one of my favourite moments!

Back with the girls although they had hoped for an outdoor ceremony but as it was pretty torrential the chairs were moved back indoors for the ceremony in the beautiful banqueting hall.

Jade is super proud to have lost an incredible 10 stone so getting into her dream wedding dress was such a special moment for her and she looked stunning, especially with her personalised Converse which I loved!

As she walked down the stairs and up the aisle to meet Dennis being given away by her Dad and little Logan the emotion just overspilled and they had a moment together for a cuddle before the ceremony began.

After the ceremony the guests relaxed in the pink sitting room while we captured their group and couple shots. The rain didn’t let up but Jade and Dennis were happy to nip out with a brolly and we captured some beautiful images around the interior of the house and in the woodshed.

After the buffet we did confetti in the banqueting hall before their speeches which brought quite a few tears to peoples eyes and the evening finished with their first dance and a very special father daughter dance.

There are lots of lovely moments from this wedding and I am already looking forward to the film from Browns Films, in the mean time here are my favourite Five Moments…
