I Do… Chris & Natalie, Narborough Hall and Gardens {Favourite Five Moments}

Narborough Hall is one of my all time favourite venues and I couldn’t wait to be back with them for the first time this year. I hadn’t met Chris or Natalie but Cara and I were greeted so warmly by Nat when we arrived and she immediately said how much she loved my work and how pleased she was we were there to capture the day.  When you know a couple trusts you so much you know you can’t get anything but beautiful images of them!

I had a lovely morning with Natalie and her super sweet bridesmaids. Natalie had planned her timings perfectly so the morning was relaxed and fun with a little weather watching for their outdoor ceremony (I always knew the sun would come out!)

I headed over to the boys who were all great fun and with a little wrangling we got them all into their suits and looking very dapper. Just as warm as Natalie, Chris couldn’t have been kinder and told us to help ourselves to drinks and canapés etc during their reception. He looked fantastic in his suit and the boys had a cheeky whiskey to calm their nerves before I headed back to the ladies.

Back with the girls it was time for Nat to put her dress on with the help of her mum. Natalie is quite petite so her dress was just stunning on her. I adored the off the shoulder straps and it was lovely to shoot a dress so different!

She had an unveil with her Dad and then bridesmaids and safe to say they were blown away. One of the images that really stood out to me was the black and white of her Dad looking so proud of her below.

The sun came out in all its glory and they got their beautiful outdoor ceremony by the lake before heading back in for the legal part and then back out to clouds of confetti in front of the hall. We had a little time so they had 30 mins or so with their guests before we started their group shots and then we headed off in the gardens for couple shots.

They sat for their meal which we were also treated to and I think I can say it was the best wedding food I have ever had! It was all vegetarian and totally incredible. We were a bit stuffed afterwards but grabbed them for golden hour after they had finished their pud before their speeches.

We headed back for their amazing speeches, I laughed all the way through and my face was aching by the end! Then their cake cut and beautiful first dance before the guests descended on the dance floor.

What a fabulous day we had, huge thanks to Fen and the always fantastic Narborough Hall staff for looking after us so well (I don’t know of another venue that offers me a coffee the moment we arrive thanks Ash and Kerry!) and of course to Chris and Natalie for being so much fun! Also thank you to Cara for doing a fabulous job of assisting.

Here are my favourite five moments and I can’t wait to share the rest…
