I first met the lovely David and Lily at one of my other lovely couples weddings last summer. They had just recently got engaged and contacted me just after the wedding to book me to capture theirs. So many of my couples book me such a long way ahead and this was 2 whole years before theirs. How time flies though and we are now less than a year till their big day at the beautiful Southwood Hall… Lily has even chosen her dress (shhhhhhh!)

They decided to have an autumnal engagement session so we met in slightly drizzly weather at one of my favourite autumnal locations. We had a lovely little walk and it was great to get to know them a little better, what they do, their wedding plans so far and even how they met.

They were also really wonderful to shoot, I quickly realised David is the more romantic one in their relationship and they were wonderful at cuddling up and having a good giggle.

I have lots of gorgeous shots from this shoot but for now here is one of my faves, I am super excited for the wedding!
